Transfiguration

As is pretty much ‘form’ for high end cartridges, Transfiguration is a Japanese company.

The house style is very open and ‘natural’. Extremely high resolution does not get in the way of musicality either. Our first exposure has been with the Axia and it certainly needed a fair amount of run-in (not exactly unusual) to give its best.  Impressive stuff and, as with all cartridges, you really ought to be auditioning before purchase.
