Solo Mini Music System Solo as a brand continues to be a staggering success with year on year growth of more than 50%! As the latest addition to the stable the solo Mini is possibly the most persuasive package in the range so far. Bringing separates performance into the competitive "small single box" arena, the Solo Minis combination of lifestyle aesthetics, flexibility, features and affordability is set to challenge the traditional one box Japanese dominance. Early reaction has re-enforced our view that this is probably the most important product launched by a UK manufacturer in years. Projected UK retail price £650 inc VAT
A38 Integrated Amplifier The design goal for the new A38 amplifier was simple – create the very best integrated amplifier that Arcam has ever built. Which given the company’s 30 year history of audiophile engineering was a wide ranging and challenging remit. The in house project revealed hitherto little understood information about the influence of thermal conditions on amplifier performance. New features in the A38 practically eliminate thermal modulation preserving the dynamics of musical reproduction with the new Sanken output devices proving extremely stable and linear. The massive toroidal transformer delivers huge transient current and has an impressively low noise floor allowing unsurpassed detail retrieval. Sealed reed relays in the pre amplifier provide negligible contact resistance and a virtual lifetime guarantee. All these factors contribute to the A38 presenting a startlingly realistic performance in all of the important musical areas of dynamics, detail, rhythm, timing and emotion. Projected UK retail price TBA |

Lyndorf home theatre products to come
Also showing at CES, the new processor will be £8,000-10,000, the power amps around £3000. This could be significant stuff, not least because accurate full range room correction has a lot to offer the home theatre market. Anyway, they look rather nifty!
