Cookies are small text files that are placed on your computer by websites that you visit to identify you. They are widely used in order to make websites work, or work more efficiently, as well as to provide relevant information to you.
The table below explains the cookies we use and why.
|Google analytics cookies||_ga,_gid,_gat,NID||Google Analytics cookies enable to track visitors behaviour and measure site performance. For example, these cookies distinguish between users and sessions and are used to calculate new and returning visitor statistics.|
In line with legal and HMRC requirements, we hold records of transactions with customers for 6 full years. The electronic records are encrypted, password protected and stored in two physical locations for safety.
We never store credit card details for face to face or on-line transactions. By buying something directly from us via our website, only Paypal and ourselves will have access to your contact details. Face to face transactions are strictly between you and Signals UK Ltd.
In a slightly futile bid to minimise incoming spam, our ‘contact’ page asks you for name, email address and telephone number. The phone number is not essential. Small asterisks denote the information that is essential for us to be able to respond.
We don’t send out an awful lot of invitations or newsletters. These Email shots are sent only to individuals who have opted to receive them. You can opt out at any time.
